Installation

The "Add to Discord" flow requests the bot and applications.commands scopes, plus a permission set covering moderation, channel/role management, and message handling — everything the built-in modules need. You can review and adjust the bot's role permissions afterward in Discord's own Server Settings → Roles.

Discord only lets a bot manage roles and members below its own highest role. If a command replies that it "can't manage" a role or member, move the bot's role higher in Server Settings → Roles.
