Terms of Service

This is a good-faith draft, written to be accurate to how the product actually works today rather than generic boilerplate. It has not had legal review and should not be treated as finished until it does.
The service
Yei Studios Bot is a Discord bot and web dashboard for managing it. Some modules are free; others require a paid plan (Pro or Business). Plans are billed per-server, monthly or yearly, through Stripe.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, entitlement checks, or rate limits
- Abuse Security or Moderation module actions against a server you don't have legitimate authority over
- Interfere with the service's operation for other users
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the roles and permissions you grant the bot, and for the settings you configure — including actions Security or Moderation modules take automatically based on the thresholds you set.
Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal (Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing) — access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Check /status for current system status.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or of Discord's own policies. You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server(s) and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." We're not liable for damages arising from automated moderation, security, or role-management actions you've configured the bot to take — you control those thresholds and settings.
