Common issues and what to check first.
The bot isn't responding to a command
- Check that the relevant module is enabled in the dashboard.
- Check the bot's role is above any role it needs to manage.
- Commands with a permission requirement (most staff commands) are hidden from members without it — that's Discord itself, not a bug.
Channel/role pickers in the dashboard are empty
These are fetched live with the bot's token. If the bot isn't in the server yet, or the environment doesn't have a bot token configured, the picker shows a clear notice instead of a fake list.
A moderation or security action didn't fire
Check the bot has the specific Discord permission that action needs (Ban Members, Manage Roles, View Audit Log, etc.) — actions fail silently-but-logged rather than crash when a permission is missing.
